Justin Hawkes founded his Conservation Studio over thirty years ago following an apprenticeship with a student of Helmut Ruhmann in 1985 - more details are given in the section of training. Throughout this period Justin Hawkes has enjoyed the priviledge of restoring and cleaning paintings from the Renaissance through to the modern era.
The site includes developments in my career in a yearly narrative section and announcement of current and forthcoming exhibitions.
