Justin Hawkes founded his Conservation Studio over thirty years ago following an apprenticeship with a student of Helmut Ruhmann in 1985 - more details are given in the section of training. Throughout this period Justin Hawkes has enjoyed the priviledge of restoring and cleaning paintings from the Renaissance through to the modern era.
I request that jpeg images are sent and please include the back of frames and paintings.
When arranging collection of frames and paintings I will explain how to proceed to achieve social distancing.
Fortunately I am able to keep my studio running in line with government requirements for convin -19. At this time I work with one frame conservator who is in a different studio. This achieves isolation working environments for us both.
Collection and delivery is done with social distancing.
